Join OneBothell and the Cascadia College/UW Bothell Outdoor Wellness Leaders for an educational community Canoe/Kayak event!
We invite the Bothell community to join us for a community kayak paddle! We will launch kayaks at Bothell Landing, to paddle both up and down Sammamish River. We will be joined by Dr. Jeff Jensen of UWB to speak on Salmon ecology, and a member of partner non-profit WhaleScout to speak on our watersheds and Orcas.
April 29th, meet at 1:00pm at Bothell Landing. (We will paddle upstream to Bracket’s Landing to meet the college OWLs, then down past Former Wayne Golf Course)
Bring your own Kayak/canoe, or email roger@onebothell.org (by April 11th at 5pm) to use a rented Kayak from WhatsUp Paddleboard (costs provided by OneBothell). Limited space available for rented kayaks with OneBothell, and community members will need to sign a release waiver.
Hope to see you there, please RSVP to Roger if you are able to make it, and let us know if you are bringing your own watercraft!
