Hi Folks!

Come help us celebrate adding five acres to the public lands around the former Wayne Golf Course.

Date: Sunday, August 4
Time: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (schedule below)
Location: Blyth Park: https://maps.app.goo.gl/K3ycLtDkSPhgGHTM7

From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., we will have an optional work party. Bring appropriate work clothes, closed-toe shoes, and gloves. We should have extra gloves and we will provide tools. Please RSVP so that we know how many people to expect.

From 10 a.m. to Noon, we will take a hike up the hill to see the new acreage added to the public land (Piper’s Crest) and the new bench at the top of the hill. The trail is a backcountry trail heading up a steep hill with switchbacks and some rocky areas. It is less than a mile each direction and climbs nearly 400 feet for a nice view of the surrounding hills.

From Noon to 2 p.m., we will be serving a main dish and provide beverages. Feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share! Please RSVP so that we have a headcount for the food.
