Hi Folks! Did you know that OneBothell does more than just the park at the former Wayne Golf Course? We are OneBothell, and we advocate for saving and protecting open spaces in the city that have great community and environmental value. Come join us for a tour of the North Creek Forest, another of Bothell’s newest parks, see this gem for yourself.
We will have OneBothell Directors and the Friends of North Creek Forest on the tour.
When: August 22, 10 a.m., approximately two hours
Where: Start at the 19900 block of 112th Ave NE.
Directions: From Beardslee Boulevard, turn at the light near the Beardslee Public House/Starbucks. The light is at 112th Ave. Follow 112th Ave towards where it is blocked and finding parking along the street.
What: Walking tour, average pace, dirt trails. Please note that the terrain is steep and uneven in places, and requires stepping or even climbing over a few downed trees. Bring water and sun protection if it is going to be warm. Leashed dogs are welcome but the trails are narrow.
